God gives his silliest battles to his funniest clowns. This week I worked too fast and killed my piece ! After a period of mourning I have begun the process of remaking the piece. I knew it wasnt holding up great but I was pushing through anyway. This next one I am hoping will be way better. I am going to build it in parts and then the final thing will be to put them all together. I am hoping that will put less pressure on the entirety of the sculpture. In terms of 3D printing I made these venus de milo's. I printed one bottom to top, and the other laying down (which is automatically what the file wanted.) I prefer the right side up one because the other left so many marks on the back from the supports. After the fall of my other piece i guess loss was on my mind so I rid myself of this other piece. It had a crack that felt unfixable, so i put it out of its misery. I am intrigued by what I made but I wasn't in love, it felt clunky but it was something that I made to process shit. With destruction comes creation right?
