Finally have "finished" my first tester piece with my simple cone 04 glaze and gloop glaze. My feelings on this piece, are that I wish I had not covered the entire thing in the clear. I ended up firing this baby three times. The first time I added the clear glaze and then wiped off some areas. The second time I covered the piece in glaze because I was unhappy with the finish. But then it came out and I hated it more once it was entirely fluxed. So then for fun I added the gloop glaze in the crevasses. From these firings I learned to hold on the gloop glaze, it literally only needs a one minute hold in order for the gloop to fully gloopify.
