This week, was baby's first cone 10 firing. Did I participate? No, not really, but I put two things in there. My baby fell on its little head and brain damage occurred, but this lovely titty survived. I don't like how the slip turned out I was supposed to be more pink but it appears to be a drab greenish gray. Love the areola/nipple color though. I do enjoy the cracking that happens in the glaze, works for the aesthetic of a plant pot.
We also had an incredible class raku ! I am very happy with how this other titty turned out even the crazing works for the look kinda adds some beautiful stretch marks to the piece. Love love love the luster glaze. My ugly little tripod friend is cute with the crackle.
Overall, this week was about experimenting and playing. Keeping this short and sweet, living in a constant existential crisis what am I doing with my life? Why is ceramics for me? How will I continue down this road? What does anything mean?
