I started making one last piece for the semester, inspired by pet play, ownership, and my love of collars. I also made a leash for the piece to wear, in an attempt to implicate the viewer more.
Sadly, I made the piece with rounded little feet and over time the bottom has rounded more and more, making it fall over in the drying process uh oh ! I tried to rub the piece back and forth over the hardy board and used sand paper, but it simply broke one of the feet off the piece and I had to reattach.

I need to figure out how I want to display the piece. I see it being on the floor or on a low to the floor pedestal. The leash will be attached after bisque and I think the handle will be floating by using fishing line?

For once I do not see any fabric being involved in this piece. There is a harshness to the work, a deviant sexual energy. It does not crave comfort the way my other pieces do.
